How do I get a referral?

Are you eligible?

The Care Store provides personal hygiene items and household cleaning products that are not eligible for retail purchase through Bridge Cards to anyone in Isabella County that has a referral from one of our partner agencies listed below.

The number of Care Bucks an individual may receive is dependent on the size of their household. Only one individual per address may receive Care Bucks for their household.

Veterans and their family members are especially encouraged to make use of The Care Store.

Contact your caseworker or staff member from one of these agencies to get a Care Bucks referral.

HOLIDAY CLOSINGS

The Care Store will be closed the week of Thanksgiving (Nov 25-29) and in December for the weeks of Christmas and New Years (Dec 23-Jan 3). Reopening for the new year on Monday, January 6.

Monday: 12 pm – 3 pm
Tuesday: CLOSED
Wednesday: 12 pm -6 pm
Thursday: 9 am -3 pm
Friday: 9 am -12 pm

INCLEMENT WEATHER POLICY: All services in the Strickler Nonprofit Center (including The Care Store) will be closed when Mt. Pleasant Public Schools are closed. If there is a 2-hour delay, services will be open.
